Who we are
GamerFinder is a free service at https://gamerfinder.app that helps players find teammates for multiplayer games. For any question about this policy or your data, write to [email protected].

What we collect
Account: the nickname you choose, and the provider identifier and
email address that come with the account you sign in with (Google, Discord or Steam),
and anything you add to your profile yourself: profile photo, bio, region and
languages. We do not ask for or store your real name, postal address or
phone number.
Activity: the rooms you create or join, the contact you put in a room so
people can reach you (a Discord invite, Steam profile or in-game ID), the messages
you write in room chat, the ratings you give and receive, reports or blocks you
submit, games you ask us to add, and — if you arrived through an invite link — the
account that invited you.
Notifications: if you allow them, your device's push token, so we can send
the notification. Your language is stored with your account for the same reason:
the notification text is written on the server, in your language.
Security logs: the date and time of each sign-in and sign-out, together with
the IP address the request came from and the browser user-agent string.
On your device: your chat-sound preference and room filters (platform,
region, language) are stored locally in your browser or app and never leave your
device. Your language choice is kept locally too, but — as above — it is also saved
with your account so notifications can reach you in your language.

linkiyle geldiyseniz sizi davet eden hesap.
Bildirimler: izin verirseniz cihazınızın bildirim jetonu, bildirimi
gönderebilmek için. Diliniz de aynı sebeple hesabınızla birlikte saklanır: bildirim
metni sunucuda, sizin dilinizde yazılır.
Güvenlik kayıtları: her giriş ve çıkış işleminin tarih-saati, isteğin geldiği
IP adresi ve tarayıcı kimlik bilgisi.
Cihazınızda: sohbet sesi ayarınız ve oda süzgeçleriniz (platform, bölge, dil)
yalnızca tarayıcınızda veya uygulamada saklanır, cihazınızdan hiç çıkmaz. Dil
tercihiniz de cihazda tutulur, ama yukarıda yazdığı gibi bildirimlerin sizin
dilinizde ulaşabilmesi için ayrıca hesabınıza kaydedilir.
Why we process it
The account and activity data exist to provide the service itself: showing you rooms, letting people find each other, and running the reputation system. Security logs exist to detect and investigate abuse — fake accounts, coordinated rating attacks, harassment. We do not use any of this data for advertising, we do not profile you for marketing, and we do not sell data to anyone.

Who else sees it
Other users see your nickname, the rooms you are in, your chat messages
in those rooms, and your aggregated reputation. They never see who rated whom —
individual ratings are anonymous and are not exposed to any client.
Anyone with a room link, even without an account, sees that room's game,
title, mode, platform, region, language and how many players are in it — this is
what appears in link previews on Discord, WhatsApp and similar apps. The room's
description, contact details and owner are not included.
Founder badges (the numbered badge of the first 1,000 players) are public.
If you joined through someone's invite link, that person can see that you joined
through it.
Supabase hosts the database and authentication.
Cloudflare serves the website and its network sees request metadata such as
IP addresses.
Google, Discord and Valve (Steam) receive a sign-in request
only when you choose to sign in with them.
Expo delivers push notifications: it receives your device's notification
token and the text of the notification.
RAWG supplies the game catalogue; it receives no data about you.
Diğer kullanıcılar takma adınızı, bulunduğunuz odaları, o odalardaki
mesajlarınızı ve toplu itibarınızı görür. Kimin kime oy verdiğini asla göremezler —
tekil değerlendirmeler anonimdir ve hiçbir istemciye açılmaz.
Bir oda linkine sahip herkes, hesabı olmasa bile, o odanın oyununu, başlığını,
modunu, platformunu, bölgesini, dilini ve kaç oyuncu olduğunu görür — Discord,
WhatsApp gibi uygulamalardaki link önizlemesinde görünen budur. Odanın açıklaması,

Kurucu rozetleri (ilk 1000 oyuncunun numaralı rozeti) herkese açıktır. Birinin

Supabase veritabanını ve kimlik doğrulamayı barındırır.

How long we keep it
Security logs (sign-in/sign-out time, IP address, user-agent) are deleted automatically after 12 months. Account and activity data are kept while your account exists. When you delete your account, your profile and chat messages are removed; records we are legally required to retain are kept until that obligation expires.
Güvenlik kayıtları (giriş/çıkış zamanı, IP adresi, tarayıcı bilgisi) 12 ay sonra otomatik olarak silinir. Hesap ve etkinlik verileri hesabınız var olduğu sürece saklanır. Hesabınızı sildiğinizde profiliniz ve sohbet mesajlarınız kaldırılır; hukuken saklamak zorunda olduğumuz kayıtlar süresi dolana kadar tutulur.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. You can delete your account at any time from the app. To exercise any of these rights, write to [email protected]. If you are in the EU or Turkey, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Cookies and local storage
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. The app stores your login session and a few preferences (language, chat sound, room filters for platform, region and language) in your browser's local storage so you stay signed in and your settings persist. If you arrive through an invite link, its code is kept there for up to seven days so it can be credited after you sign in, and the room you were trying to open is kept until you sign in. There are no third-party trackers.
Reklam veya analiz çerezi kullanmıyoruz. Uygulama, oturum bilginizi ve birkaç tercihi (dil, sohbet sesi, platform/bölge/dil oda süzgeci) tarayıcınızın yerel depolamasında tutar; böylece girişte kalırsınız ve ayarlarınız korunur. Bir davet linkiyle geldiyseniz kodu, giriş yaptıktan sonra sayılabilsin diye en fazla yedi gün orada tutulur; açmaya çalıştığınız oda da giriş yapana kadar saklanır. Üçüncü taraf takip aracı yoktur.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13. If the age of consent for data processing is higher where you live, that age applies. If we learn that we hold data about a child below that age, we delete it.
Hizmet 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklar için tasarlanmamıştır. Yaşadığınız yerde veri işlemeye rıza yaşı daha yüksekse o yaş geçerlidir. Bu yaşın altındaki bir çocuğa ait veri tuttuğumuzu öğrenirsek sileriz.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, you will be asked to review it in the app before continuing to use the service. The date at the top always shows the current version.
